Commercial Drone Photography/Videography
Drone Operator, Producer, Editor
Having a passion for photography led me to getting a commercial drone license. Capturing photos and videos with a drone offered me a new perspective to things, literally. It's allowed me to capture the fabric of different communities and help with ongoing development needs. It has also given me the opportunity to collaborate with architects on their building projects by pairing their renders with my aerial footage to create more photorealistic images for proposals and presentations. An example can be seen below, where the aerial footage I captured of the construction site was merged with a render to create a more photorealistic representation of what the housing unit will look like upon completion. A short reel highlighting some of the select aerial videos I've shot and produced are shown here.
The Embrace Memorial (Boston, MA)
Producer, Editor, Drone Operator
AIA Film Challenge is a film contest that amplifies the stories of architecture projects that are transforming communities through the power of design and collaboration. For this challenge, we created a short film to highlight the Embrace Memorial in Boston. To provide a living space for conversation, education and reflection on the racial and economic justice ideals of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King, a the memorial and monument embraces America’s first public park, Boston Common. The Embrace, inspired by a photo of the Kings locked arm-in-arm, brings the power of physical collectiveness to a site where, in 1965, Martin Luther King called on the city to live by its highest ideals. The Embrace embodies the collaborative efforts of city leaders, King Boston, MASS Design Group, and artist Hank Willis Thomas to represent the Kings’ time in Boston and their approach to a just and equitable society.
King's Chapel: Memorial to Enslaved Persons (Boston, MA)

King’s Chapel in Boston is creating a memorial that will serve as a site for reflection, a catalyst for conversation, an inspiration for activism, and a beacon of hope. King’s Chapel is actively uncovering the church’s early and enduring connections to slavery. Engaging these painful parts of our past is already transforming the way we understand our history and the way we share our story with the tens of thousands of people who visit the church on Boston’s Freedom Trail.
